What can I calculate?

Thermal performance (U-value, R-value, condensation / vapour diffusion), airborne sound insulation (Rw, R'w) and impact sound (Lw, L'nw) - all from the same assembly.

Can I compare different assembly options?

Yes. You can build, modify and compare alternative assemblies - Professional and Business plans compare up to four side by side.

Can I use my own materials?

Yes. Business users can create custom materials and use them in their assemblies. Free and Professional accounts calculate from the built-in material database.

Can I save my calculations?

Yes. Saving and reloading calculations is available with Professional and Business.

Can I generate a report?

Which standards and calculation methods does ThermAcoustic PRO use?

Thermal calculations follow EN ISO 6946. Acoustic calculations follow EN 12354 / EN ISO 12354-1 and 12354-2 (airborne and impact sound insulation), with single-number ratings derived per ISO 717-1 and ISO 717-2. Condensation analysis follows the Glaser method per EN 13788. These methods are checked and adjusted against real laboratory measurements, which is what keeps the predictions accurate and credible across real-world wall, floor, and roof buildups.

Do I need specialist software or engineering experience?

No specialist software - ThermAcoustic PRO runs in the browser. It is designed for technically informed building professionals; a basic understanding of construction assemblies and building performance is recommended.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and there are no refunds for partial periods.
